A Lifetime of Excellence in Drywall
With over 30 years in the drywall industry, Larry McMillen stands as a testament to the power of experience, dedication and family values. Larry’s Journey in drywall began at the age of 15 where he joined the carpenter’s union in Las Vegas, Nevada under the supervision and the guidance of his own father. Learning the ropes from his father helped guide Larry in his journey to wanting to one day be able to run and operate a family drywall business of his own.
During the early 2000’s, Larry and his father decided to move up to Northern Idaho where both father and son joined the carpenter’s union of eastern Washington, in Spokane, where they continued to work for many years. Oftentimes going to work all day and then picking up side jobs for themselves, until they decided to leave the union and open a business of their own.
This foundational experience, coupled with years of hard work, and the unfortunate passing of his father has led Larry and his wife to establish a company of their own.
At the heart of Unique Drywall is a strong family bond. Alongside Larry and his wife, Jody, you will find Larry’s brother and a few of their children deeply involved in the operations, reflecting a commitment to quality and trust that only a family-run business can offer. The team, consisting of about 20 skilled and experienced members, are truly seen as an extended part of the McMillen Family.
Understanding the value of time, Larry and his team are known for their punctuality and respect for customers’ schedules. They firmly believe that a customer’s priority is their priority, ensuring that each project is handled with utmost care and attention to detail.
